Thought I would keep you all posted. I receive three phone calls today from the RCMP - Dare program, in response to my complaint -Marijuana "what's the big deal" pamphlet. They denied association with the ADIC (the company that supplies the misinformation/is associated with the US/BC Dare program). They also denied handing out this pamphlet, yet we received it directly from a DARE officer at the Castlegar Symposium. They defended the information, claiming accuracy and approval by their scientific advisors. However they would not tell me who the the "advisors" are....a reference to HC was made, but again when I pushed they denied..denied...
Defensive and abusive would be the best words to describe their tone used in our conversations. They really didn't like it when I contacted the sponsors of the BC Dare program....that hit the mark. If anyone's child has received this pamphlet within the school system - please let me know. I'm not going to let this one go - it's too important. Prohibition propagana has no place in our schools.
Thank everyone - great work!
